Important Dates to Consider
The State Bar of Michigan fiscal year is October 1 through September 30.
Members joining between October 1 and March 31 are required to submit $415 for active status or $277.50 for inactive status.
Members joining between April 1 and September 30 are required to submit $207.50 for active status or $138.75 for inactive status.
If you’ve been sworn in and don’t intend to practice law immediately, you may want to consider returning to this site at a later time to avoid extra fees.
