What is a browser?

A browser is software that lets you visit web pages on the internet. Popular examples include Chrome (Google), Firefox (Mozilla), Edge (Microsoft), and Safari (Apple).

Not sure what browser you’re using?

Look at the icon that you use to go to the internet on the Desktop, Task Bar, or Start Menu.

Alternatively, in the browser's toolbar, click on “Help” or the Settings icon. Click the menu option that begins “About” and you'll see what type and version of browser you are using.

 Internet Explorer and Opera are not supported on this portal.
